Feral Thug Ambushes Deputy & Chaos Erupts, But Only One Walked Away

On Friday, a Texas sheriff’s deputy had just left the scene of a car accident when he stopped to put gas in his cruiser. As he pumped gas, a feral thug emerged and chaos erupted, leaving only one of the two men able to escape the scene alive.
ABC13 reported that a 10-year veteran of the force, Harris County Sheriff’s Deputy Darren Goforth, had just left a vehicle accident and was pumping gas at a Copperfield gas station. Not expecting any trouble, Deputy Goforth was casually filling his cruiser when without warning, the street thug approached him from behind and started shooting at him.

Several shots hit Goforth in the back, causing him to fall to the ground, but the murdering thug wasn’t done yet. As Deputy Goforth lay on the ground, defenseless and suffering from multiple gunshot wounds, the thug stood over him and continued to fire, executing the officer in cold-blood.
A woman by the name of Mackenzie heard the shots ring out as she drove past the station, and she said what she saw unfold was absolutely heartbreaking.

“We were driving on West Road and we heard the shots, and when I turned and looked, the lady was screaming over top of him,” she said. “So we busted a U-turn into the parking lot and that’s when we saw what had happened.”
Mackenzie said that when she pulled into the gas station, a woman was sobbing over the deputy.

“She was laying on top him,” Mackenzie said. “She was saying that was her best friend and that he had two kids.”
Mackenzie immediately called police upon seeing what had happened, but the suspect was already gone. However, a massive manhunt led to a man, who sheriffs described as black and just under six feet tall, being arrested at a nearby residence after police received a tip about the vehicle he was driving.

Police took the suspect into custody without incident at what was believed to be his mother’s house. Naturally, she claimed he is innocent and attempted to provide an alibi for him during the time of the shooting.
“My son is innocent,” said the woman, who wouldn’t give her name or show her face on television. “I was in the house with him, so when that happened, my son was home.”

Deputy Goforth’s horrific execution has sent shockwaves through the community and marks the first shooting death of a Texas law enforcement officer this year.
“I’ve been in law enforcement 45 years,” Harris County Sheriff Ron Hickman said. “I don’t recall another incident this cold-blooded and cowardly.”
Harris County Deputy Thomas Gilliland lamented on the current climate in America, which he believed to be the cause of Goforth’s public execution.
“This is a very tough moment right now for the Harris County Sheriff’s Office. I can ask you if you give us your prayers and your thoughts,” said Gilliland. “It’s tough enough being a deputy and being in law enforcement in this country right now, but for people, the way that they are right now, I have no words for what this type of person did.”
His sentiments were echoed by Bob Goerlitz, president of the Harris County Deputies Organization, who called the heinous crime “shocking.”
“We’ve been warned of things like this, because of public sentiment nationally and events over the last few years … It’s just horrific. That’s the only way to describe it,” he said.
Indeed. The pure hatred and vitriol being spewed at law enforcement by a certain group of people, who believe certain lives matter more than others, can be directly blamed for the cold-blooded execution of this officer, and the problem is this seems to be happening more frequently. This is the third or fourth death of an officer in a week’s time, and it follows the execution of two white journalists by a racist black liberal.
At what point are we as a nation going to stand up and tell the people spewing their hatred and racism that enough is enough? At what point are we going to actually admit that these crimes are racially motivated, then take meaningful action to stop them? At what point are we going to hold the cowardly journalists, who perpetuate lies in order to push an agenda, accountable for their actions?
How many more have to die at the hands of feral thugs before we do something about it? This is sheer madness, and it’s only going to get worse if people continue to ignore the blatant truth in front of their eyes – racism is in fact alive and well in America, but it’s not white people who are primarily to blame. Just ask the half a dozen people who died at the hands of racist black people this week.
