Special Needs Bus Driver Repeatedly Raped Disabled Wife, What He Used Is SICK

Sean Brown

An elderly Maryland woman, suffering from dementia, has kept a secret for years that she never wanted her husband to know. However, he finally found out what she was hiding, and rather than handle it like an adult, he inflicted heinous torture on her, repeatedly raping her as she lay helpless, and what he used to do it is beyond sick.
Special needs bus driver George Kephart, a 78-year-old Derwood resident, was arrested and now faces life in prison after the repeated sexual assaults against his helpless wife, reported WJLA. Kephart had long suspected his wife had cheated on him decades ago. When he finally confronted her about it, he apparently couldn’t handle the answer she gave him, and he unleashed his fury in the worst way possible.
George Kephart
His 78-year-old wife, who suffers from dementia, admitted to an affair some 50 years ago. For most, at that point, it would be considered water under the bridge or possible ramblings of an unfortunately demented, elderly mind. But for Kephart, it was the start of a fit of rage that would last for months. He began by beating the woman senselessly in their home. Bruises all over her head, neck, and arms revealed the extent of the abuse, but that wasn’t the worst part.
After Mrs. Kephart was taken into the hospital for a forensic sexual assault examination, doctors discovered the torn flesh inside of her body, and she made a shocking admission – her depraved husband had used a piping hot curling iron to penetrate her vagina, causing extensive damage inside of her body. During the exam, she told detectives that she’s horrified of her husband because he “burns her with fire,” and she also admitted that she “hates him” for the things he’s done.
Apparently, Kephart wasn’t too well-loved in his neighborhood either. Other residents said they were just waiting for something to happen with him because of how frustrated he was by having to care for his sick wife.
“He is a round, short, little guy who is ready to explode at any moment,” Kephart’s next-door-neighbor, Zide Anani, remarked. “I’m surprised he didn’t do it earlier because he’s really frustrated with the wife. The wife is a very sick woman. She is not moving, she is on oxygen, she needs help to do her regular things in life and the guy is just really fed up.”
It was discovered that Kephart held a job with Montgomery County Public Schools, driving buses for special needs children for the last 15 years. Upon his arrest, the district suspended him without pay, and he won’t be driving any buses next week when school starts back up.
Kephart is currently being held in jail without bond and faces a slew of charges, including felony charges of first-degree sex offense, first-degree assault, and vulnerable adult abuse. He faces life in prison if he’s convicted, and his first court appearance is September 11.
Depraved doesn’t even begin to describe what this man did. It takes a special kind of evil to sexually assault someone in such a manner, and the fact that it was his wife makes it even worse. Hopefully, he’s convicted on all counts and spends the rest of his natural life behind bars. Anything less would be a miscarriage of justice.
