Amid the anti-police rhetoric and several executions of police officers around the country, television personality Mike Rowe, former host of Dirty Jobs and CNN’s Somebody’s Gotta Do It, posted a video to Facebook that he strongly urges people to watch, and it left his fans and followers stunned.
The video was narrated by Paul Harvey, a famous conservative radio host, and it is a testament to the horrible circumstances most police officers work under on a daily basis. Rowe posted it to his page to openly show his strong support of law enforcement, and he received an outpouring of support from his followers for it.
“Thanks Mike. After 39 years in this gig, it’s nice to know people are still backing us,” a user who goes by DougandCarol Hutchinson wrote.
“Mike Rowe referencing Paul Harvey…I don’t know if I can handle that much awesome!” said James Daniel.
“Thank you Mike! Mr Paul Harvey was one of the best! This commentary is spot on!” echoed Arthur L. Smith.

Rowe’s post comes after what can only be described as a horrible week for law enforcement around the country, with several officers being slain in the line of duty, and activists continuing to call for the murder of police, which is likely why the video resonated with so many people. Since he first posted it, it’s received thousands of comments and almost 30,000 shares, which continues to grow.
Below is the actual video via YouTube, go ahead and watch it. If you’re of the anti-cop mindset, hopefully it helps to bring things into perspective for you.
