Hated Cop Put Car In Handicap Spot, Got More Than Expected Upon Return

Conservatives have come to know Milwaukee County Sheriff David A. Clarke as the “People’s Sheriff,” despised by democrats for being black and comparing the Black Lives Matter movement to ISIS. Now, liberals have a new reason to hate him, and they weren’t afraid to show it after he parked in a handicap spot then returned, stunning onlookers with what he did.
On Wednesday, the Milwaukee police officer arrived at the Milwaukee County War Memorial for a Veterans Day ceremony with his partner in tow. He hopped out in a hurry, having pulled into a handicap spot near the event for quicker, but temporary, access. Clarke instructed the officer to move the black SUV to an appropriate parking place after dropping him off. According to Global News, the officer did not follow through on that request for unknown reasons.
The department-issued car was left on full display for all to take aim at during the entire ceremony, seen by droves of people, many of whom were likely seething at the opportunity to throw police under the bus for disrespecting disabled citizens this way. Cops are humans too and oversights happen, even one as unfortunate as this. What he did after realizing the mistake upon return, obliterates the accusations that officers think they are above the law, but some weren’t so kind in accepting it.
Officer Clarke did his job and issued a parking ticket, just as he would do for a civilian who wrongfully left their ride in a handicap spot. The person hit with the fine wasn’t his partner who he asked to move the patrol car, he took the responsibility for it himself, since he put it there in the first place.
“The rules are the same for my squad as any car except in an emergency or official business but not in a handicap area,” Clarke announced in a press release from the Milwaukee County Sheriff’s Office. But even being honest with this move, anti-cop activists were still quick to dismantle this man’s genuine action as something sinister.
Matt Wild, who rants on the Milwaukee Record, discredited Clarke’s actions by claiming that his statement following the self-issued ticket was a backhanded apology. Saying that the officer “still kind of blamed an underling” for his actions, Wild obliterated Clarke for “taking a shot at the government” when the officer said that he paid the $35 fine along with making a $200 donation to an organization for the disabled, since he “would rather the money go to a private org working with the disabled than to government.” That’s a pretty stand up thing to do if you ask anyone with a soul, but to liberals like Wild, it’s a contentious gesture made in vain and hate for government, which Wild and his cohorts want more of.
Proving that the left can’t just give credit where’s it’s due and accept the fact that officers aren’t the disrespectful villains they desperately want them to be, Wild referred to Clarke as “lazy and morally bankrupt,” mostly because he acts with character and takes a stand about what’s wrong in this country, two things the left can’t comprehend. Liberals would be better served taking note of this cop’s character who took responsibility for his actions, so they can see how it’s done, and maybe try it out themselves.
