Although 2016 Presidential hopeful Hillary Clinton thinks
the U.S. military supports her as a candidate, that may not necessarily
be true. As proven by a simple photo while shaking hands with a soldier,
the small thing the man was seen actually doing in the picture has her
supporters pissed, and it speaks volumes regarding her “everybody loves
me” narrative.
As Hillary is striving to rake in every single vote on her struggling
political run, it seems that she most recently tried to connect with
our brave men and women in uniform. Unfortunately for her, she failed
miserably.
While speaking at a New Hampshire breakfast that Hillary attended on
Tuesday, she explained that she herself once tried to join the Marines.
According to her account while speaking to a recruiter all those years
ago:
“He looks at me and goes, ‘Um, how old are you. And I
said, ‘Well I am 26, I will be 27.’ And he goes, ‘Well, that is kind of
old for us.’ And then he says to me, and this is what gets me, ‘Maybe
the dogs will take you,’ meaning the Army.”
Of course, Hillary is spouting the account in order to prove how many
things in this nation are still anti-woman. However, there’s a few
things that just don’t add up when it comes to her claims.
Best explained by Maureen Dowd of the
New York Times,
Hillary stated the incident occurred when she was 26. With that being
said, the limit on the age of new recruits at the time was 28, so they
more than likely wouldn’t have even mentioned her age. There’s also
another thing to take into consideration.
At the time, Dowd states that “Hillary Rodham was an up-and-coming legal star involved with an up-and-coming political star.”
CNN’s Jeff Zeleny only further argued that point by adding:
“[I]t seems so unusual that a Yale-educated lawyer who
worked on the anti-war campaigns of McCarthy and McGovern, who had just
moved to Arkansas, whose husband was about to become the Attorney
General of the state would decide to want to join the Marines.”
As if all that wasn’t enough, Dowd also states that Hillary,
as president of the student government at Wellesley College, “ had
organized teach-ins on her opposition to the Vietnam War.” That doesn’t
sound like a person wanting to be in the military, but it does sound
like a liar.
Fortunately, it doesn’t seem that too many people are really
buying her load of crap, and soldiers are eager to openly express their
displeasure with this phony. In fact, a picture from about 10 years ago
is making its rounds again, after her most recent claims.
It shows a soldier posing for a picture and shaking
Hillary’s hand. The image’s description puts the icing on the cake as it
reads, “Keep your friends close and your enemies closer.” If you look
closely, you’ll see that he is crossing his fingers, which is the POW
sign for “coercion.”
“The picture of me and Hillary Clinton was taken
when she came to visit Iraq. I was actually ordered to shake her hand,
and I never figured that my friends would circulate it all over the net.
I AM NOT a Hillary fan by any stretch,” the soldier in the photo
said.
You see, the point here is rather simple; no one believes a
word that Hillary has to say. Does that really sound like a person you
want running the nation? I didn’t think so.
