Obama Claus Just Gave Out 95 ‘Gifts’ That Put ENTIRE Nation In Danger

Sean Brown As everyone has been focused on the looming threat of Islamic terror, Barack Obama decided he was going to act in the spirit of Christmas and hand out 95 gifts across the country. The only problem is that they put everyone in danger.
Using the power of his pen, Obama Claus decided it’s the perfect time of year to spread holiday joy to federally incarcerated inmates and turn them loose into society for the rest of us to deal with, despite the fact they’ve been arrested, tried, and convicted by a jury of their peers. Yeah, the Washington Post reported that Obama granted clemency to 95 federal inmates, who were all jailed on drug offenses, and we’ll all get to deal with them now.
According to the Post, the is the third time this year that Obama has used his executive authority to release potentially dangerous inmates from prison, and to date, it’s the largest number of his presidential term. With Friday’s announcement, he will surpass Presidents George H.W. Bush, Bill Clinton, and Ronald Reagan’s total number of sentence commutations combined, which sets yet another presidential “first” for Obama – letting the most inmates ever go free.
More on the clemency announcement from the Post:
All inmates given clemency by Obama are first sent to lower-security prisons and then halfway houses to help begin their transition before they are released from the custody of the Bureau of Prisons. After that approximately four-month process, the inmates are released and transferred to the custody of the U.S. Probation and Pretrial Services system.
So the one good thing is, it looks like they’ll be vetted a little better than Tashfeen Malik, the imported jihadist who killed 14 people in San Bernardino, but I’m still not convinced this is the best idea. The recidivism rate of those incarcerated for drug offenses is quite high, and according to the Justice Department, some 70% of them are arrested for similar crimes within just three years. How does that make you feel?
Personally, these people stood trial and were convicted, and their harsh sentences were given as a deterrent to others, who may want to follow a similar path. Clemency, along with lowering the sentencing guidelines for such offenses, only serves to empower people by taking away the fear of incarceration, which puts everyone in danger.
Then again, we shouldn’t really be surprised at Obama’s decision. After all, his policies have done nothing other than put our country at risk, so at least he’s staying consistent. Unreal.
