Jealous Boyfriend Seeks BRUTAL Revenge, Eliminates Her “Distraction”

Meaghan Ellis
One jealous boyfriend felt his girlfriend wasn’t giving him enough attention, so he decided to get rid of her “distraction.” Taking matters into his own hands may not have been the smartest decision, because now he’s facing jail time.
According to WSB-TV, Alexis Matthews’ boyfriend, 32-year-old David Gibson, had been dog sitting, but he contacted her with horrific news, insisting the dog had drowned while he was giving her a bath.
Matthews’ 9-pound terrier named, Gurl.
However, according to Thurston County Animal Services, an examination of the dog has proved otherwise. Apparently, the dog suffered a brutal death that had absolutely nothing to do with drowning. Anna Johnson with Thurston County Animal Services has spoken publicly about the dog’s death with graphic details about the savage beating the dog endured. Not only had the dog been beaten, but the injuries are also consistent with torture.
“The dog had been beaten, strangled,” said Johnson. “Her eyes were damaged and her neck twisted. And she had bruises all over her body.”
Even though the examination speaks volumes, Matthews is still in shock and disbelief. She claims her boyfriend treated her dog “like a child” and would never hurt her. “It was a blow. It was really shocking and unbelievable. I hate how it happened,” Matthews continued. “Just like the pain that she went through. It definitely weighs heavily on my mind like all the time. It’s hard.”
Upon arrest, Gibson actually admitted to killing the dog, explaining why he’d done so. Apparently, he truly was jealous of his girlfriend’s dog and the attention she gave it. He now faces felony animal abuse charges, but is that really enough?
Although Matthews claims her boyfriend isn’t a monster, the truth is he does have a problem. People who evolve into murders usually start somewhere, and in most cases, their rage begins with innocent animals. This man should be charged with animal cruelty and evaluated for mental problems because he could get a lot worse in the years to come.
