ISIS Surrounds Badass Russian, Instantly Regret It When Hell Unleashes

Robert Rich After completely surrounding a Russian special forces soldier, a group of ISIS fighters thought they were in complete control of the situation. Unfortunately for them, the badass they were targeting had quite the nasty surprise for them and decided to give them a nasty taste of their own medicine in order to avoid being captured.

According to reports, the man in question was behind enemy lines near Palmyra, Syria, “carrying out a special task to direct Russian airstrikes at Islamic State group targets,” according to an unnamed representative.

“The officer was carrying out a combat task in Palmyra area for a week, identifying crucial IS targets and passing exact coordinates for strikes with Russian planes,” the source went on to say. At some point during his mission, the Russian soldier was seen by ISIS fighters, who quickly swarmed and surrounded the man.

Unfortunately for them, they didn’t exactly realize the badass they were dealing with. As the soldier saw that he was being overcome by enemy forces, he called in an airstrike on his position in order to not only avoid capture, but take out as many ISIS fighters as he could in the process.

“The officer died as a hero, he drew fire onto himself after being located and surrounded by terrorists,” the representative later said. It is currently unknown when this happened or how many ISIS fighters were killed amid the attack, but one thing is for certain – this guy is a genuine badass.

Knowing full well that his capture would be used as ISIS propaganda and that he would be tortured and eventually killed anyways, this brave soldier made his death count for something. Although I can’t say that I would wish this on anyone else, I have to say – this is the way I would want to go if I was in this situation. This man died a hero and a genuine badass.
