Christine Michael didn't last 24 hours on waivers before he was picked up by the
Green Bay Packers Wednesday. The 26-year-old running back was cut by the
Seattle Seahawks Tuesday.
Michael has 565 yards and seven touchdowns on
137 touches this season, but is averaging just 3.3 yards per carry
through his last five games.
Michael looks to fill-in behind James Starks
in the immediate picture, but I don't think he is worth a pickup quite
yet unless you are in a very deep league. If he picks up his yards per
carry, he could earn his way into the RB2/flex picture. He has 1,090
yards from scrimmage and seven touchdowns on 247 career touches.
The Packers also placed running back
Don Johnson
on IR Wednesday. Starks is the workhorse in a running attack that has
produced just three touchdowns this season, the second-fewest among NFL
teams.
