Jonathan Cheban made an uncomfortable joke at Caitlyn Jenner‘s expense
in an upcoming episode of “Wild ‘N Out,” Page Six has exclusively
learned.
In the episode, set to air Friday night, Cheban lists some of the exotic foods he has tried over the years in his self-appointed role of Foodgod. In response, the emcee notes that host Nick Cannon also has experience with exotic fare.
“Nick also has tasted some exotic things in his day,” she says. “What was the most exotic thing you’ve ever tasted, Nick? Was it a Kardashian?”
To which Cheban interjects, “Was it Kim or Caitlyn?”
As the crowd shouts “Oooooh,” Cannon mimics holding back vomit.
“He doesn’t see that it’s transphobic. He was talking about two women from the same family, one that Nick dated,” a rep for Cheban told Page Six. “It’s a show that centers around jokes. It was not transphobic.”
Tensions between Jenner and the rest of the Kardashians have remained high since Jenner published her memoir, in which the Kardashians felt they were portrayed negatively. As Page Six exclusively reported, Jenner’s daughter Kendall was recently seen “ripping Caitlyn Jenner a new one” during a tense argument at Nobu Malibu.
“They were arguing … It was more Kendall ripping Caitlyn a new one for ‘always turning her back on the family’ after they’ve been so good to her,” the source told us.
Now, it appears only Kanye West remains loyal to Caitlyn as the transgender icon, as he sent her and rumored girlfriend Sophia Hutchins clothes from his new line.
