“Queer Eye” star Jonathan Van Ness will
gladly suffer through the pain of high heels, but his holiday gifting
pick is a good old-fashioned comfort snack.
“This is so quintessentially Midwestern of me, but [I’m giving everyone] those three-flavor popcorn tins,” the grooming expert, 31, told Page Six Style. “You can’t really be mad at someone for giving you that. It’s kind of a gorgeous ‘deal with it’ gift. Like, here it is — deal with it!”
But, the flowing-haired Fab Five favorite admitted: “I can’t even lie to you — I’m the worst Christmas present shopper of all time, because I’m too busy impulse buying stuff for myself.”
Continued the hairstyling whiz, “As a child, my mom was always like, ‘It’s November — you can’t buy anything, because Christmas is next month!’ So as an adult, I just rebelliously and recklessly buy myself stuff that whole month. I’m just now reaching the maturity level where I can think about other people for long enough to buy stuff in bulk.”
