CNN Contributor April Ryan is being accused of inciting violence against members of the Trump administration.
Ryan was asked about a section of the Mueller report regarding White House Press Secretary Sarah Sanders.
In 2017, Sanders said the FBI’s rank and file lost confidence in former FBI Director James Comey.
When questioned about the comment by the special counsel, Sanders said the comment was made in the heat of the moment. This prompted Ryan to not only condemn sanders, but to call for her removal in an aggressive manner.
Supporters of the administration point to President Trump’s comments about congresswoman Ilhan Omar regarding 911.
Democrats said the president was inciting violence when he quoted Omar word for word. They’re now asking why the same standard isn’t being applied to Ryan’s comments.
