Two men were arrested after getting into a fight in central Auckland early on Sunday morning.
The altercation took place on Galway St, near Britomart, at 1am.
Both were taken to Auckland Hospital with serious injuries.
A 31-year-old has subsequently been charged with wounding with intent to injure and methamphetamine possession for supply. A 33-year-old has been charged with wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm.
