Destiny Hot Fix Deployed, Crota's End Exploits Eliminated

Gamers need to face the boss using new tactics
Crota's End in Destiny has less glitches

The development team at Bungie announces that a first hotfix for 2015 is now deployed for Destiny and that the Crota's End raid has been receiving special attention from the studio, with the aim of making sure that gamers can no longer use glitches in order to take down the powerful boss and his minions.
The official announcement explains that, "The Dark Below infused Destiny with new content, along with some new issues that we have sought to correct. With this update, we’re paying special attention to the Crota’s End Raid - along with weapons, arenas, and rewards for other activities. Iron Banner is also being prepared to return."

Bungie has been focusing on elements of the Crota's End raid like the bridge encounter and the actual confrontation with the boss, removing those elements which allowed players to progress without actually fighting battles.

The team has clearly listened to feedback from the community and it should be now harder to get through the raid, although some in the official forums are already posting new ways to use glitches to avoid combat.

Bungie is also working on a new special Hard mode for Crota's End, which will presumably be introduced in the next few weeks and will probably come with enhanced rewards for those willing to try.

Destiny is getting ready for its second expansion

The deployment of the hotfix is important for the current state of Destiny but at the moment most of the resources of the development team are linked to the new expansion, which is called House of Wolves.

A leak says that it will be deployed as early as March on all platforms and that it should deliver as much content as was offered in The Dark Below, with one major raid which will once again test the skills of the community.

An even bigger content drop is planned for later in 2015, apparently designed to tweak some of the fundamental mechanics and two introduce entire new locations that will require exploration from players.

Bungie has already said that it plans to continue to run regular events for Destiny in order to keep gamers engaged and to give them plenty of ways to improve their Guardians.
