A confident young girl in Sri Lanka was recorded bringing an elephant to a halt with an outstretched hand and a command.
The elephant slowly walks down a road in the June 5 footage as the young girl approaches from the opposite direction.
The girl stops walking, holds out one hand toward the elephant and shouts a command.
The elephant, startled, stops in its tracks. The girl starts to walk toward the elephant, which backs away before fleeing into some trees.
