Nintendo Switch owners will miss out on another blockbuster release, as Bungie rules out a Destiny 2 port.
Bungie said that a Nintendo Switch port was unrealistic given that Destiny 2 is an online-only game.
"I think it's pretty unrealistic, given we're an online-only game, right?" Bungie's Mark Noseworthy told IGN.
"[The
Switch is] incredible, I love the console, but in terms of where it's
at, I don't want to leave anyone with the possibility of, like, 'It's a
thing we'll consider, maybe next year.' There's no plans right now for
Switch."
It joins blockbuster new game releases like Star Wars: Battlefront 2 and Call of Duty WW2 to be ruled out for Nintendo Switch.
PS4 and Xbox One owners will be able to play Destiny 2 on September 8, while PC users will seemingly have to wait a little longer.
